The people have voted! Congratulations to Szymon Godziek for winning the People’s Choice Award: Athlete of the Year for 2014!

Taking 5^th overall in the 2014 FMB Diamond Series, Szymon Godziek is one of the top athletes in the freeride mountain bike scene. No doubt, Szymon Godziek impressed the masses with his spectacular season.

Szymon made history this year by landing the first ever Tsunami Flip on a mountain bike in a contest at the best trick showdown during Red Bull District Ride 2014, the 4^th stop of the 2014 FMB Diamond Series. 

Szymon made his first appearance a Red Bull Rampage. One of the most prestigious events on the FMB circuit. In his debut year, Szymon nailed an amazing 10^th place result.

He showed no hesitation and charged the course like a veteran. 

Back-flipping the 72-foot canyon gap as smooth as butter, Szymon Godziek definitely showed his diverse skills on the big mountain terrain.

This year, Szymon really demonstrated the progression of the freeride mountain bike scene. Being constantly consistent and pushing the boundaries of the sport, thanks to you, we are glad to present Szymon Godziek with the People’s Choice Award: Athlete of the Year!
