Brandon Semenuk (CAN) is hard to beat this season. With another victory he cements his lead of the overall FMB World Tour Ranking and widens the gap between himself and last year’s FMB World Tour Champion Cameron Zink (USA).

It had been 2 years since Bearclaw last called for a get together and everybody knew, with a course built out of the Bear’s Claw you are guaranteed a feast of dirt, obstacles, jumps, thrilled riders and stunned spectators; A course so unique and unusually Slopestyle it had his paws all over it. It was a mixture of big mountain and new school moves with a ton of incorporation of the forest, such as the ladder Bridge with 2 skinnys, the boner log, a sky deck with a massive drop, 2 big boosters and a huge quarter pipe at the end.

Semenuk easily bagged first place, followed by an impressive Anthony Messere. After Darrens bad injurie from the beginning of the year it was good to see him back on the podium at 3rd place in front of Sam Pilgrim (GBR) and Yannick Granieri (FRA).
